ENEL-VEDERE L’INVISIBILE (SEEING THE INVISIBLE)

To launch its new electricity meter, Enel decided to create an installation for the Milan Triennale. By highlighting how its brands and meters have evolved, it wanted to showcase how the company has changed between 1962, the year it was founded, and today.

In this installation, light – the principal instrument of the immaterial – is used to design both space and objects. Light describes physical objects which disappear, objects which no longer need to be designed in terms of form but in terms of performance, “Design After Design”.
